Discovering the Art of Life

Like A Child

Poem

I always thought that childlike faith
Meant blindly believing

I never considered the depths of a child’s soul

Their willingness
To hold hands with a tree branch
Trusting the earth to catch them
When they let go

I wonder
Could I hold hands with certainty
And trust the earth to catch me
When I let go?

Childlike faith is
letting go
and
trusting.

Childlike faith has a whole new meaning to me since I have become a mother. I’ve often thought of how I wish I could have the wonder and faith my children exhibit consistently; I’ve learned so much more from them than I could have ever dreamed.

    Beautiful poem and pictures! 💜
